My last entry was 15 days ago. I haven’t updated as often as I did before. I can blame life but that’s totally unfair to it. So this blog entry will be an update on what I’ve been up to nowadays. (if anybody out there is curious about it.)
Two weeks ago I got the results of the Dentist’s License exams and this may not be as thrilling to say as the day I found out but here it goes… I PASSED! I am now a certified dentist in the Philippines.
Despite the joy of this achievement, what comes next is my official “tambay” state. This Saturday will be my oath taking ceremony which will officially declare me as part of the PH professional workforce. My question to myself now is “so where to next?”
I hope to share and use this privilege to serve my fellow Filipinos and also to give back to the community one day. 🙂
A day after the results went out, I had a mini vacation with my parents, aunts and uncle. We went to the scenic town of Vigan. It was my first time there and I really do not know what to do there so I simply took photos of the world-famous Calye Crisologo and did all the tourist-y type activities like riding a calesa and trying out Vigan Emapanadas which the city is also famous for.
My main agenda was to visit Bantay Church where Apo Caridad was. My mother prayed to her and wished that I will pass my board exam. Her promise was to bring me there if her wish is granted and there I was taking baduy photos at the Bell Tower ruins after we visited her and prayed again.
It was a short trip and given that I was with 9 senior citizens, I didn’t do much of a dare devil type of traveling, I simply enjoyed the company I was with and cherish the scenic views the city had to offer. Despite their ages, my oldies crew, are proof that age is only a number. 😀
Reading Challenge Progress
In my previous entry (which I already updated), I mentioned that I will be participating in book challenges and I am not failing at it just yet. haha. I finished my first local read and will write a short review about it with my Bookbed Roomies to be posted on bookbed.org .
I am currently reading “The Last Little Blue Envelope” by Maureen Johnson for another reading challenge. 🙂 I hope to share with you my thoughts about it. It is a sequel to the book entitled “13 Little Blue Envelopes” , also by Maureen Johnson. I plan to have a two in one review similar to the review I did for my first book review, which was a local read that is set in the province. 😉
There are more things happening in my life and the less I write on my blog the more I become busy. I do not know if it is a good sign or a bad sign but I am living every moment of it. 🙂
’til next post!
